Dewgong is a Water/Ice-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 1. With a Base Stat Total (BST) of 475, Dewgong is classified as a Sea Lion Pokémon and is part of the Seel → Dewgong evolution line.
In competitive play, Dewgong is placed in the Monotype tier where it holds a 0.56% usage rate. Its key abilities are Thick Fat and Hydration and Ice Body, which allow it to function as a versatile team member. Dewgong is weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, Rock-type moves, so trainers should plan around these vulnerabilities.
