Hippowdon is a Ground-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 4. With a Base Stat Total (BST) of 525, Hippowdon is classified as a Heavyweight Pokémon and is part of the Hippopotas → Hippowdon evolution line.
In competitive play, Hippowdon is placed in the NatDex Monotype tier where it holds a 9.31% usage rate. Its key abilities are Sand Stream and Sand Force, which allow it to function as a potent threat in sandstorm teams.
