Larvitar ist ein Pokémon vom Typ Gestein/Boden, das in Generation 2 eingeführt wurde. Mit einer Basiswertsumme (BST) von 300 wird Larvitar als Felshaut-Pokémon klassifiziert und gehört zur Entwicklungsreihe Larvitar → Pupitar → Despotar.
Im kompetitiven Spiel ist Larvitar im Tier AG mit einer Nutzungsrate von 0.02% vertreten. Seine wichtigsten Fähigkeiten sind Adrenalin und Sandschleier, wodurch es als vielseitiges Teammitglied eingesetzt werden kann.
