Pokémon-Items sind Gegenstände, die im oder außerhalb des Kampfes eingesetzt werden können. Getragene Items verleihen im Kampf passive Effekte – von mehr Attackenstärke bis zur KP-Heilung pro Runde. Andere Items sind Entwicklungssteine, Pokébälle, Medizin und Competitive-Klassiker wie Choice Band, Leftovers und Life Orb. Itemkenntnis ist für effektive Competitive-Teams essenziell.

Pokémon-Items verstehen
Items erfüllen in der Pokémon-Reihe viele Zwecke, von der Heilung deines Teams bis zum Verstärken von Attacken im Competitive. Besonders getragene Items sind ein Grundpfeiler des Teambaus, da das richtige Item die Effektivität eines Pokémon stark verändern kann.
Getragene Items im Competitive
Die einflussreichsten getragenen Items im Competitive sind Leftovers (1/16 KP-Heilung pro Runde), Choice Band/Specs/Scarf (1,5× Statuswert, aber auf eine Attacke festgelegt), Life Orb (1,3× Schaden auf Kosten von 10 % KP pro Angriff) und Eviolite (1,5× beide Verteidigungswerte für nicht voll entwickelte Pokémon). Heavy-Duty Boots verhindern Schaden durch Auslegware und sind daher für auslegwareanfällige Pokémon essenziell.
Entwicklungs-Items
Viele Pokémon benötigen bestimmte Items zur Entwicklung. Entwicklungssteine wie Fire Stone, Water Stone und Thunder Stone lösen bei kompatiblen Pokémon die Entwicklung aus. Beim Tausch getragene Items wie Metal Coat (Scizor), Dragon Scale (Kingdra) und Protector (Rhyperior) lösen die Entwicklung aus, wenn das tragende Pokémon getauscht wird.
Mega-Steine & Z-Kristalle
Mega-Steine aus Generation VI lassen bestimmte Pokémon im Kampf eine Mega-Entwicklung ausführen und geben ihnen höhere Statuswerte, teils neue Fähigkeiten oder Typen. Z-Kristalle aus Generation VII ermöglichen einmalig mächtige Z-Attacken. Beide Mechaniken sind auf ihre Generationen beschränkt, bleiben aber in erlaubenden Formaten wichtig.
Beeren & Heil-Items
Typ-resistenzbeeren (Yache Berry, Occa Berry usw.) halbieren den Schaden eines sehr effektiven Treffers eines bestimmten Typs. Schwellenbeeren wie Sitrus Berry stellen KP wieder her, wenn sie unter einen Grenzwert fallen. Diese Verbrauchsitems fügen Competitive-Kämpfen eine weitere Ebene aus Vorhersage und Counterplay hinzu.
