Cud Chew
Gen IXWhen the Pokémon eats a Berry, it will regurgitate that Berry at the end of the next turn and eat it one more time.
Cud Chew in Battle
Cud Chew allows the Pokemon to consume a Berry twice. When the Pokemon first eats a Berry — whether naturally from an HP threshold or through any other trigger — the Berry's effect activates as normal. Then, at the end of the following turn, the Pokemon regurgitates and eats the same Berry again, receiving its effect a second time.
The Berry is not actually restored to the Pokemon's held item slot after the first consumption. The second activation occurs automatically and cannot be prevented by moves like Knock Off or Trick between the two consumptions. If the Pokemon switches out before the second consumption, the stored Berry is lost.
Cud Chew is found on Farigiraf, the Normal/Psychic-type Pokemon introduced in Generation IX. It effectively doubles the value of any held Berry, making recovery Berries like Sitrus Berry restore 50% total HP over two turns instead of 25%, and offensive Berries like Liechi Berry can potentially grant two Attack boosts.
