Tera Shell is a remarkable defensive ability exclusive to Terapagos in its Terastal Form, providing unprecedented protection when the Pokemon is at maximum health. When Terapagos has full HP, every single damage-dealing move that connects will be treated as "not very effective," effectively cutting all incoming damage in half regardless of type matchups or move power. This creates an incredibly potent defensive wall that can withstand even the most devastating super-effective attacks during the initial exchanges of battle.

The ability's power lies in its universal application - it doesn't discriminate between physical, special, or even typically unresisted moves. Whether facing a Fighting-type move against Terapagos' Normal typing or any other attack, Tera Shell reduces the damage to 0.5x effectiveness as long as HP remains at 100%.
