Cursed Body in Battle

Cursed Body gives each damaging move that hits the Pokemon a 30% chance of becoming Disabled for four turns. A Disabled move cannot be selected by the opponent until the effect wears off, forcing them to choose alternative moves or switch out.

The Disable effect from Cursed Body functions identically to the move Disable. If the opponent only knows one damaging move, they will be forced to use Struggle while the Disable is active. Multi-hit moves only check for the Disable chance once per use, not per individual hit. Cursed Body does not activate on moves blocked by a Substitute.

Cursed Body is primarily found on Ghost-type Pokemon including Gengar, Banette, Froslass, and Jellicent. It creates an element of uncertainty for opponents, who risk losing access to their best move whenever they attack. This makes Cursed Body users effective at disrupting offensive strategies through sheer probability.
