Tablets of Ruin is a passive ability that continuously reduces the Attack stat of all other Pokémon on the battlefield by one stage while the user remains active. This field-wide debuff affects both opponents and allies in double battles, making it a particularly potent defensive tool that weakens physical attackers across the entire battlefield. The ability holder itself remains completely unaffected by this Attack reduction, maintaining its own offensive capabilities while crippling everyone else's physical damage output.

Introduced in Generation 9 as the signature ability of Wo-Chien, one of the legendary Treasures of Ruin, this ability creates immediate battlefield pressure the moment the Pokémon enters combat. The Attack reduction persists as long as Wo-Chien remains on the field, making it extremely difficult for physical attackers to break through its naturally bulky Dark/Grass typing.
