Mega Launcher in Battle

Introduced in Generation VI, Mega Launcher powers up all aura and pulse moves to 1.5x their base power. The affected moves include Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Water Pulse, Terrain Pulse, Origin Pulse, and Heal Pulse (which has its recovery increased from 50% to 75% of the target's max HP).

This multiplier transforms moderately powered pulse moves into serious offensive threats. Water Pulse jumps from 60 to 90 effective base power, Dragon Pulse from 85 to 127, and Aura Sphere from 80 to 120 -- all while retaining their original accuracy and secondary effects. Dark Pulse at 120 effective power with a 20% flinch chance becomes particularly dangerous.

Found on only 2 Pokemon -- Clauncher and Clawitzer -- Mega Launcher defines their entire offensive identity around pulse-based coverage. Clawitzer in particular leverages the ability to hit a wide range of types super-effectively through boosted Water Pulse, Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, and Dragon Pulse.
