Dancer
Gen VIIWhenever another Pokémon uses a dance move, this Pokémon will use the same move immediately afterwards.
Dancer in Battle
Dancer causes the Pokemon to automatically perform any dance move used by another Pokemon on the field, immediately after the original user finishes. This applies to both allies and opponents. Dance moves include Quiver Dance, Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Fiery Dance, Petal Dance, Revelation Dance, Feather Dance, Lunar Dance, and others.
The copied move is used without consuming PP and occurs outside of normal turn order. If multiple dance moves are used in the same turn, the Dancer Pokemon will copy each one. The copied move targets the same target selection logic as if the Dancer Pokemon had used it normally.
Dancer is the signature ability of Oricorio, the Fire/Flying-type dancing bird Pokemon introduced in Generation VII. It is particularly powerful when partnered with an ally using setup dance moves like Quiver Dance or Swords Dance in doubles, as the Dancer Pokemon receives the boosts for free without spending its own turn.
