습기 (Damp)

Damp prevents all Pokemon on the field — allies and opponents alike — from using the moves Self-Destruct, Explosion, and Misty Explosion. Additionally, the ability Aftermath will not activate while a Pokemon with Damp is present. Any attempt to use these explosive moves will fail entirely, dealing no damage.

The prevention is field-wide and constant as long as the Damp Pokemon remains in battle. It does not consume the move's PP when it fails. Damp also prevents the use of these moves by ally Pokemon in double battles, which is rarely relevant but worth noting.

Damp is found predominantly on Water and Ground-type Pokemon including Psyduck, Golduck, the Poliwag line, Wooper, Quagsire, and Mudkip's evolutionary line. While niche, the ability has practical value against opponents who rely on Self-Destruct or Explosion as a last-resort move, and it completely shuts down Aftermath damage from Pokemon like Electrode.
