ふくがん (Compound Eyes)

Compound Eyes increases the accuracy of all moves used by the Pokemon by 1.3x. This multiplier is applied to the move's base accuracy, so a move with 70% accuracy becomes 91%, and a move with 80% accuracy effectively becomes 100% (capped). One-hit KO moves (Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold) are explicitly excluded and receive no accuracy benefit.

This ability is particularly valuable for enabling otherwise unreliable moves. Sleep Powder rises from 75% to 97.5% accuracy, Thunder goes from 70% to 91%, and Blizzard reaches 91% from 70%. This makes Compound Eyes users potent lead Pokemon that can land disruptive moves more consistently.

Prior to Generation V, Compound Eyes also had an overworld effect: if the first Pokemon in the party had this ability, wild Pokemon were more likely to be holding items (60%/20%/5% instead of 50%/5%/1%). Compound Eyes is found on Bug-type Pokemon including Butterfree, Galvantula, and Vivillon.
