Sacapecho en combate

Big Pecks prevents the Pokemon's Defense stat from being lowered by opposing moves or abilities. Moves like Charm, Screech (which targets Defense), and the secondary effects of attacks like Crunch will not reduce the Pokemon's Defense.

The ability does not protect against other stat reductions — only Defense is shielded. The Pokemon can still receive negative Defense modifiers through Heart Swap or Guard Swap, as these moves exchange stat changes rather than directly lowering them.

Big Pecks is found primarily on bird Pokemon, including the Pidgey, Pidove, and Ducklett evolutionary lines. While conceptually fitting for Pokemon with protective plumage, it is generally considered one of the weaker abilities in competitive play due to its narrow scope of protection.
