Los 512 objetos de todas las categorías
Los objetos Pokémon pueden usarse dentro o fuera del combate para ayudar a los Pokémon. Los objetos equipados proporcionan efectos pasivos durante el combate, desde aumentar la potencia de un movimiento hasta restaurar PS cada turno. También hay piedras evolutivas, Poké Balls, medicinas y básicos competitivos como Choice Band, Leftovers y Life Orb. Entender los objetos es esencial para crear equipos competitivos eficaces.

Entender los objetos Pokémon
Los objetos de la serie Pokémon tienen muchos usos, desde curar a tu equipo hasta potenciar ataques en combates competitivos. Los objetos equipados son especialmente esenciales al crear equipos competitivos, pues el objeto adecuado puede transformar la eficacia de un Pokémon.
Objetos equipados competitivos
Los objetos equipados más influyentes en competitivo incluyen Leftovers (recupera 1/16 de los PS por turno), Choice Band/Specs/Scarf (1,5× a una estadística, pero limita a un movimiento), Life Orb (1,3× de daño a cambio del 10 % de los PS por ataque) y Eviolite (1,5× ambas defensas para Pokémon no evolucionados por completo). Heavy-Duty Boots evita el daño de trampas de entrada, por lo que es esencial para Pokémon débiles a ellas.
Objetos evolutivos
Muchos Pokémon necesitan objetos específicos para evolucionar. Las piedras evolutivas como Fire Stone, Water Stone y Thunder Stone desencadenan la evolución al usarlas en Pokémon compatibles. Los objetos equipados para intercambio como Metal Coat (Scizor), Dragon Scale (Kingdra) y Protector (Rhyperior) provocan la evolución al intercambiar al Pokémon que los lleva.
Megapiedras y Cristales Z
Las Megapiedras, introducidas en la sexta generación, permiten a ciertos Pokémon megaevolucionar durante el combate y aumentar sus estadísticas, además de obtener a veces nuevas habilidades o tipos. Los Cristales Z de la séptima generación permiten usar un potente movimiento Z una sola vez. Aunque ambas mecánicas se limitan a sus generaciones, siguen siendo importantes en formatos que las permiten.
Bayas y objetos de recuperación
Las bayas reductoras de tipo (Yache Berry, Occa Berry, etc.) reducen a la mitad el daño de un golpe supereficaz de un tipo concreto. Las bayas de emergencia como Sitrus Berry restauran PS al bajar de cierto umbral. Estos objetos consumibles añaden otra capa de predicción y contrajuego a los combates competitivos.
