Aura Feérica (Fairy Aura)

Fairy Aura boosts the power of all Fairy-type moves used by any Pokemon on the field by approximately 1.33x while the Pokemon with this ability is active. This boost applies universally — to the user's own Fairy moves, allies' Fairy moves, and even opponents' Fairy-type attacks.

The aura's effect is reversed to approximately 0.75x (a power reduction) if a Pokemon with Aura Break is present on the field. Dark Aura and Fairy Aura are independent and can both be active simultaneously, each affecting their respective type.

Fairy Aura is the signature ability of Xerneas, the Fairy-type Legendary Pokemon introduced in Generation VI. Combined with Xerneas's massive base stats, Geomancy setup, and powerful Fairy-type STAB moves like Moonblast, the aura boost pushes Xerneas's damage output to extraordinary levels. It is thematically paired with Yveltal's Dark Aura as the two mascot legendaries of Pokemon X and Y.
