Über Z-Kristalle
Z-Kristalle sind getragenen Items aus Generation VII, die einmalige Z-Attacken im Kampf ermöglichen. Es gibt 18 typspezifische Z-Kristalle sowie mehrere artspezifische Z-Kristalle. Z-Attacken verursachen verheerenden Schaden oder verleihen starke Statusverstärkungen, die Kämpfe in einem Zug drehen können.
Typ-Z-Kristalle
Jeder der 18 Pokémon-Typen hat einen passenden Z-Kristall, der eine Attacke dieses Typs in eine Z-Attacke verwandelt. Physische Attacken werden zu physischen Z-Attacken, spezielle zu speziellen Z-Attacken. Die Stärke hängt von der Stärke der ursprünglichen Attacke ab; die meisten Z-Attacken erreichen 175–200 BP.
Status-Z-Attacken
Wird ein Z-Kristall mit einer Status-Attacke eingesetzt, erhält das Pokémon vor ihrer Ausführung einen Bonuseffekt. Z-Swords Dance gibt zusätzlich zu den +2 von Swords Dance +1 Angriff. Z-Memento heilt das einwechselnde Pokémon vollständig. Diese Kombinationen schufen einzigartige strategische Möglichkeiten in Gen VII.
