Wichtige artspezifische Items
Eviolite verdoppelt die Verteidigung und Sp.-Vert. nicht vollständig entwickelter Pokemon und macht Chansey und Dusclops zu erstklassigen Walls. Light Ball verdoppelt Pikachus Angriff und Sp.-Ang. Thick Club verdoppelt den Angriff von Cubone/Marowak. Soul Dew verstärkte Latios/Latias in älteren Generationen.
Kompetitiver Einfluss
Eviolite ist mit rund 6 % Nutzung in OU mit Abstand das einflussreichste artspezifische Item. Es macht ganze NFE-Pokemon spielbar: Chansey wallt spezielle Angreifer besser als Blissey, und Dusclops wird zu einem erstklassigen Trick-Room-Setter. Ohne Eviolite wären viele NFE-Pokemon nicht spielbar.
