Über Wesen-Minzen
Nature Mints, eingeführt in Generation VIII, ändern die Werte-Modifikatoren eines Pokémon, ohne seinen tatsächlichen Wesensnamen zu ändern. So können Trainer einen gewünschten Hidden-Power-Typ oder ein Zuchtwesen behalten und zugleich die Werteverteilung für den Wettbewerb optimieren.
So funktionieren Mints
Der Einsatz eines Mint auf ein Pokémon ändert, welche Werte erhöht (+10 %) und gesenkt (-10 %) werden, passend zum Wesen des Mint. Ein Adamant Mint gibt +Attack/-Sp.Atk-Modifikatoren. Der ursprüngliche Wesensname bleibt für die Zucht erhalten, doch die Kampfwerte entsprechen dem Wesen des Mint.
Einfluss im Wettbewerb
Mints machen die Zucht nach bestimmten Wesen überflüssig und sparen kompetitiven Spielern Hunderte Stunden. Beliebte Mints sind Jolly (Spe+/SpA-), Adamant (Atk+/SpA-), Timid (Spe+/Atk-) und Modest (SpA+/Atk-). Sie sind als Belohnung im Battle Tower erhältlich.
