Bulletproof grants the Pokemon complete immunity to ball, bomb, and bullet-based moves. This includes a wide range of attacks such as Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Weather Ball, Gyro Ball, and Ice Ball, among others.
The immunity is based on a specific internal flag on each move, not on the move's name alone. Moves like Bullet Punch are not classified as bullet moves despite the name, and therefore are not blocked. The full list of blocked moves also includes Acid Spray, Seed Bomb, Mud Bomb, Octazooka, Barrage, Egg Bomb, Electro Ball, and Pyro Ball.
Bulletproof is found on Pokemon like Chesnaught, the Jangmo-o evolutionary line, and Wooloo/Dubwool. It provides notable defensive utility by blocking several common competitive moves, particularly Shadow Ball and Focus Blast, which are staples of many special attackers' movepools.
