Blütenhülle (Flower Veil)

Flower Veil prevents all ally Grass-type Pokemon from having their stats lowered by opposing Pokemon and protects them from non-volatile status conditions (burn, freeze, paralysis, poison, and sleep). The protection extends to the user itself if it is a Grass-type.

The ability only protects Grass-type Pokemon — allies of other types receive no benefit. Self-inflicted stat drops from moves like Close Combat are not prevented. The status protection blocks moves like Thunder Wave, Toxic, and Will-O-Wisp targeting the protected allies.

Flower Veil is found on Fairy-type Pokemon associated with flowers: the Flabebe line (Flabebe, Floette, Florges) and Comfey. Since none of these Pokemon are Grass-type themselves, Flower Veil is purely a supportive ability that benefits Grass-type allies in double battles. It pairs well with Grass-type teammates that appreciate status immunity.
