Iraguscio (Anger Shell)

Anger Shell activates when an attack reduces the Pokemon's HP to half or below. Upon triggering, the Pokemon's Defense and Special Defense both drop by one stage, while its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed each rise by one stage. This transforms the Pokemon from a balanced fighter into a fast, offensively powerful but defensively fragile attacker.

The ability only triggers once per switch-in when the HP threshold is first crossed. If the Pokemon is healed above half and then damaged below half again, Anger Shell will activate again. The trigger requires direct attack damage — passive damage from weather, poison, or entry hazards will not activate it.

Anger Shell is exclusive to Klawf, introduced in Generation IX. The stat redistribution makes it a high-risk, high-reward ability that pairs well with moves or items that capitalize on the boosted offensive stats before the lowered defenses become a liability.
