Originariamente 17 Lastre per i tipi non Normale, fungono sia da strumenti che potenziano i tipi sia da meccanica centrale per l'abilità di Arceus che ne cambia la forma.

Potenziamento tipo

Ogni Lastra potenzia del 20% la potenza di un tipo, come strumenti che potenziano i tipi quali Charcoal o Mystic Water. Il vantaggio della Lastra è il legame con Arceus e Judgment, che cambia tipo in base alla Lastra tenuta.

Forme di Arceus

Arceus cambia tipo e forma in base alla Lastra tenuta. Arceus-Ground (Earth Plate), Arceus-Ghost (Spooky Plate) e Arceus-Water (Splash Plate) sono tra le forme più rilevanti competitivamente. Negli Ubers di Gen IV-VII, la scelta della forma di Arceus definiva il team.
