Usage compétitif
Adamant is the premier nature for physical attackers. By boosting Attack at the cost of Special Attack, it maximizes damage output for Pokemon that rely exclusively on physical moves. Physical sweepers like Garchomp, Dragonite, and Scizor commonly run Adamant when they do not need the extra Speed from Jolly. Adamant is preferred over Jolly when the Pokemon already outspeeds its key threats or uses priority moves.
