Competitive Use
Modest is the standard nature for special attackers, boosting Special Attack while lowering the unused Attack stat. This makes it ideal for Pokemon like Gengar, Togekiss, and Volcarona that rely entirely on special moves. Modest provides the highest possible Special Attack without sacrificing any useful stat.
