Competitive Use
Bold is the primary nature for physically defensive Pokemon. By boosting Defense at the cost of Attack, it maximizes physical bulk for walls and support Pokemon. Common users include Toxapex, Slowbro, and Clefable. Bold is chosen when the Pokemon uses only special or status moves and needs to tank physical hits.
