Предметы для определённых видов дают мощные эффекты лишь отдельным Pokemon или группам. Они часто определяют соревновательную роль владельцев: от защитного преображения Eviolite до удвоения урона Pikachu с Light Ball.
Ключевые видовые предметы
Eviolite удваивает Defense и Sp. Def не до конца эволюционировавших Pokemon, делая Chansey и Dusclops топовыми стенами. Light Ball удваивает Attack и Sp. Atk Pikachu. Thick Club удваивает Attack Cubone/Marowak. Soul Dew усиливал Latios/Latias в старых поколениях.
Влияние на мету
Eviolite — безусловно самый влиятельный видовой предмет, с использованием около 6% в OU. Он делает жизнеспособными целые NFE Pokemon: Chansey лучше Blissey держит специальных атакующих, а Dusclops становится отличным сеттером Trick Room. Без Eviolite многие NFE Pokemon были бы нежизнеспособны.
